Internet users are now trolling the actress and the makers for 'changing the religion of the man who threw acid on Laxmi Agarwal. Chhapaak is based on the story of Laxmi Agarwal, who at 15 was attacked with acid by a man called Nadeem Khan. In Chhapaak, Nadeem Khan has been allegedly replaced by Rajesh, say trolls on Twitter. F act: It hasn't. In Chhapaak, the attacker's name has been changed from Nadeem Khan to Basheer Khan. Rajesh is the name of one of Deepika's friends in the film. This is a planned PR campaign so that a controversy is purposefully created so that you guys get used as the free advertisement boards for them. These PR agencies use thousands of fake twitter accounts to start this trend until real people start spreading it and they will purposefully keep quite for a while until they have acheived their target goal. Then, media people cover it. Then some time later, they release the facts showing themselves as correct. End result, you become the fool, they get money as now their film is famous. And, after that, people stop trusting you guys as you are now a proven source of fake news, so people around you will stop trusting you even when you post a true important thing in the future. And you cannot blame it on deepika or the producers of the film because they didnt say any of these officially, so you just got played by some twitter bots and you have to live with it now. This is such a simple and standardized marketing stratergy, yet a post with twitter screenshot showing this fake news became the most voted post of today in our sub with nearly 500 votes. A Masterpiece with strong direction, screenplay and of course powerhouse performance by Parvathy & Asif. Deepika has a long way to go, she can act but lacks the conviction with which Parvathy has portraited the character. Meghana too has to learn more as the movie loses momentum at many places. Uyare was able to win million hearts bcoz of it's SOUL which unfortunately Chhapaak completely missed out.
